“Do you like NOISE?”
This is my solo music project. Exploring modular synthesis and experimental electronic music. My primary inspiration for my sonic voice is Pierre Schaeffer and his writing on “Sound Objects.” Instead of taking a more traditional view on music composition, tonality and chord progression with distinct instruments, I primarily focus on the sound objects (not to say I never will or never have written music in any other way). Sound objects are any distinct sonic material, usually recorded, that in my pieces it is, primarily, synthesized sounds. Instead of using pitch or tonality as the primary changing aspect of the sound object I focus on rhythm and timbre.
